What Is Honey Social?

First of all, welcome! If you're here, it's probably because you want a better understanding of who we are and what we do, so we’re going to keep this real simple. Let’s get into it.

What we do:
Honey Social is a content creation platform that specializes in providing stock content (images and vertical video) and resources for women of color.
So basically what that means is, in addition to the stock content that people know and love us for, we also produce tools and resources to assist members with their content creation and business needs.
We do this by delivering new stock collections and resources (sometimes it's a masterclass, sometimes it's templates, sometimes it's a guide, and sometimes it's a challenge) to our community every month.
Why we do what we do:
Okay, let's get into it because this is the juicy part.
You ever sign up for something, get access to it and then quickly regret it? Well, that's what happened to our founder, Jendayi. She was in the zone building up her photography and branding business - taking all the classes, learning all the things, and feeling all the hype to stay consistent with whatever additional support she could get. So she signed up for a stock membership platform and... womp womp womp. 😩
Well actually, the resources were not that bad. But the stock photos... 😳
Ya'll the stock! Chillleeeee. The melanin void was overwhelming. But it wasn't just that!
The content in no form or fashion felt like the type of person, the women of color, the millennial, the dope, the cultured person that she was.
So, she created it. 🤷🏽♀️
